Based In Designed in New York, handmade in Bangladesh

KORISSA began in 2017, when co-founders Nora and Angela stepped away from the fast pace of New York's interior design world in search of something more grounded. After Angela relocated to Bangladesh and encountered the region's heritage handcrafts, the two found a new definition of quality in what they call the "imperfectly perfect" - the natural variation only a human hand can create. Today, KORISSA partners directly with artisan communities across Bangladesh, offering fair wages and market access while shaping natural materials like jute, seagrass, and terracotta into everyday home goods.
